MORE:
On November 5, 2013, LADWP hosted a reenactment of the significant moment in Los Angeles history when water first arrived in Los Angeles 100 years ago via the newly-completed Los Angeles Aqueduct. As it did 100 years ago, Los Angeles Aqueduct continues to deliver water to Los Angeles from the Eastern Sierra, and remains to be one of the most important engineering marvels of the early 20th century.
