Pacific Palisades Fires: Correcting Misinformation about LADWP’s Water System

Statement on Rebuilding Pacific Palisades Power Infrastructure

January 29, 2025

LOS ANGELES (January 29, 2025) — LADWP is continuing work needed to restore services to affected customers and support the Pacific Palisades community throughout the rebuilding process.

As we plan for rebuilding our own power infrastructure in the Pacific Palisades, we remain focused on supporting our customers and their power needs safely, reliably and resiliently. Before we move forward with any power system expansion, including Distributing Station 104 (DS-104), we will keep the Council Office and the Pacific Palisades community informed and involved. We have not completed any final design plans at any location.   We want to be up front however that we will need adequate infrastructure to support power demand in the Pacific Palisades to meet our customers power needs and future growth.
