LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) Chief Operating Officer Raman Raj has been elected to serve in leadership positions at two U.S. power associations for the 2009-2010 fiscal year.  Mr. Raj will serve as Vice Chair at Large of the Executive Committee for the Western Energy Institute (WEI,) a regional agency, and as a Member of the CEO Steering Committee for the Large Public Power Council (LPPC,) a national organization.
