Two TV Programs on the 2013 LADWP Science Bowl

LOS ANGELES — Two half-hour TV programs showcasing the talents, hard work and knowledge of the city’s brightest high school students will air this month in Los Angeles.
The first show, 2013 LADWP Science Bowl Documentary, follows four schools preparing for and competing in the regional contest. The second program, 2013 LADWP Science Bowl Finals, focuses on the competition between the two top teams to determine the Regional Champion. The air schedule is as follows: 2013 LADWP Science Bowl Documentary 2013 LADWP Science Bowl Finals The LADWP Science Bowl is one of 68 high school regional competitions in 40 states that participate in the National Science Bowl Program. This regional competition covers the Los Angeles Unified School District boundaries but includes charter, private and parochial schools in addition to those that are LAUSD schools.The winning team will participate at the U.S. Department of Energy National Science Bowl in Washington, D.C. April 25 -29.
