Power Outage Update

As of 2:15 p.m. Tuesday
LOS ANGELES- The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) reports approximately 5,100 of its 1.4 million electric customers are experiencing power service interruptions as rain and wind have caused outages in several neighborhoods.  Working around the clock, LADWP Power System crews have restored electric service to an estimated 45,000 customers since the storm began yesterday.

The following communities currently have the most number of customers impacted:

•South Los Angeles: 2,200
•Korea Town: 1,800
•Hyde Park: 600

LADWP crews continue working around the clock as quickly and safely as possible to restore power.
