MEDIA ADVISORY: LADWP Invites the Public to Attend Hollywood Reservoir Pollinator Garden Grand Opening

Garden to be dedicated to the late Cindy Montañez

WHAT:
In collaboration with EPRI and other partners, LADWP will be unveiling the new Hollywood Reservoir Pollinator Garden, located on the West side of the Hollywood Reservoir, in honor of late activist, conservationist, and former Assemblywoman and Mayor of San Fernando Cindy Montañez.

In addition to celebrating the new garden, this event will have guest speakers, informational booths, and our water trailer.

Saturday, June 1, 2024
10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Hollywood Lake Reservoir (along the walking path between the North and Weidlake Gates)

Attendees can enjoy the new pollinator garden made up of California friendly flora and fauna and idyllic Hollywood Reservoir, with views of the Hollywood Sign atop green mountains. California native bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other pollinators may also be seen.
