LADWP Crews Working To Restore Power Outages During Heavy Winds |
LOS ANGELES —The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) reports approximately 16,300 of LADWP’s 1.4 million electric customers are experiencing power service interruptions as heavy winds have caused 164 outages in several neighborhoods across the city. The wind storms typically result in power outages as dried palm fronds, tree branches, downed trees and other debris fall and make contact with power lines. LADWP crews are working as diligently and as safely as possible under these heavy wind conditions to restore power to customers affected.
