LOS ANGELES (September 3, 2025) — LADWP crews completed repairs on the 67-inch water trunk line on La Brea Blvd., between Coliseum St. and Stocker St., on Saturday, August 30. Flushing of the trunk line began early Sunday morning, August 31. Throughout the day, LADWP’s Water Quality team tested the water, and all results came back clear confirming that the water is safe.
All lanes on La Brea Avenue are currently open. Crews will still be in the area repairing a small leak on a different water pipeline, which will be completed by the end of September. This work will have minimal impact on traffic.
