Valley Village Outage Update 1 |
| At approximately 8:48 am LADWP Distributing Station 57 experienced equipment failure causing an outage that is currently affecting 15,000 customers in the Valley Village area. LADWP crews are on scene working to restore power by rerouting all power. There is currently no estimate on when power will be restored. LADWP crews on scene have determined the cause to be a crow that came into contact with a 34,500 volt circuit breaker within Distributing Station 57.
There are numerous intersection light signals without power and LA Department of Transportation personnel are directing traffic, but motorists are asked to be extra cautious while driving in the area.
