| LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) reports approximately 88,700 of its 1.4 million electric customers are experiencing power service interruptions as high winds continue throughout the Southland.
Approximately 83,000 of these customers are located in the Metro Area and the remaining 5,700 are in the San Fernando Valley. The following communities are currently most impacted: LADWP crews continue working to restore power as quickly and safely as possible. The public and members of the media are encouraged to check the Department’s news site and Twitter page for updates. The next outage update will be posted at approximately 10:00 a.m. |
