LOS ANGELES — As strong winds hit the Southland tonight, Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) is reporting approximately 23,100 of its 1.4 million electric customers are without power as of 9:00 pm . The following communities are most impacted:

* Korea Town: 1,376
* South Los Angeles: 913
* Hollywood: 1,701
* West Lake: 1,063
* Crenshaw: 2,423
* Hyde Park: 3,441
* Pacific Palisades: 1,197
* Mar Vista: 846
* Park La Brea: 555

VALLEY
* Northridge: 2,947
* Reseda: 439
* Van Nuys: 663
* Panorama City: 729

LADWP crews are working around the clock to restore power as quickly and safely as possible. Updates will continue to be posted online at www.ladwpnews.com.  The next outage update will be posted at approximately 11:00 pm.
