Payment Plan Enrollment Capability Added
to Customer Service Offerings at LADWP.com 

LOS ANGELES—Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) customers now have the ability to enroll in Payment Plan options online at ladwp.com. 

LADWP’s Payment Plan helps customers who may need a little more time to pay their utility bill. In the past, the only way to enroll in a payment plan was to call the LADWP Customer Contact Center and speak with a Customer Service Representative. Now, customers can visit ladwp.com, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to enroll. LADWP customers must have an online account and meet eligibility requirements to enroll. 

“We are always looking for new convenient options to make paying your bill easy and efficient, and to improve our customers’ experience,” said Randy S.Howard, Senior Assistant General Manager of the LADWP Power System. “Offering payment plans online reduces the need to make a phone call and worry about when the call center is open. No wait time at all. We are very pleased to offer our customers this new online functionality.”

For information on payment plans, please visit www.ladwp.com and click on “Bill & Payment” within the Residential Customer Service module. To enroll in a Pay Plan, go to your Account Summary (requires log-in) and click on “Pay Plan Options” near the bottom of the page. 

For customers who prefer to connect by phone or electronically, the Department offers the following options:

  • Call Monday-Friday between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m., or Saturday between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m., when call volumes are typically much lower;
  • Use phone self-serve telephone options by calling 1-800-DIAL-DWP (1-800-342-5397); or
  • Email us through www.ladwp.com/ContactUs and receive a timely response from our eTeam.
