This month, our hydrographers headed back to the dedicated snow courses to conduct the latest round of snow surveys for LADWP. With the March 1 snow survey complete, the snowpack is holding at 100% of normal to date. The last snow survey of the season in April will reveal a more complete look at this year’s snowpack. Surveys take place annually on February 1 and continue monthly through April 1, when the final measurements are collected.

LADWP Eastern Sierra Current Snowpack Conditions reported:
• 15.5″ of water content
• 100% of normal to date
•87% normal of a typical water year ending April 1
