LADWP Heat Update – 9:30 p.m. Tuesday

LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) reports an estimated 2,412 of its 1.4 million electric customers are without power as of 9:30 p.m. Tuesday evening.

The following communities are most impacted:

Los Feliz
Country Club Park
Hollywood
Pacific Palisades
South Los Angeles
Westwood

LADWP has 95 crews assigned and working around the clock to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.

The public and members of the media are encouraged to check the Department’s news site and Twitter page, @LADWP, for updates.  The next outage update will be posted tomorrow morning.
