LADWP Final Outage Update: LADWP Restores Power to Majority of Customers Affected by Heavy Winds

LOS ANGELES — As of 5:30 a.m. today, after working around the clock, Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) crews have successfully restored service to nearly all customers affected by heavy winds over that past two days. Currently there are 88 customers without power stemming from one outage in Encino. At their peak on Friday, winds caused 330 separate outages with a total of 23,000 customers without power. The remaining customers affected will have their power restored by today.

LADWP wishes to thank all customers for their patience during the outages as crews worked diligently and safely to restore power.
