LADWP and The Office of Inyo County Education Announce the 2022 Certified Trade Education Scholarship Winners

June 10, 2022 (INYO COUNTY, CA)– For the third consecutive year, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) is proud to partner with the Inyo County Office of Education (ICOE) to provide a $2,000 scholarship to graduating high school students in Inyo County committed to enrolling in postsecondary institutions or programs that provide industry-recognized certifications, training, and/or degrees in the skilled labor trades. This year’s winners of the LADWP and ICOE Certified Trade Education Scholarship program.

  • Conner Holland (Bishop Union HS)
  • Kennedy Batchelder (Bishop Union HS)
  • Leopoldo Sanchez (Lone Pine HS)
  • Noelani Lukaszka (Palisade Glacier HS)

Leopoldo Sanchez was also selected for LADWP’s Summer Student Worker Program, a program offered to graduating high school seniors to gain firsthand experience working directly at one of LADWP’s aqueduct construction yards.  For more information on our education and career development opportunities please visit ladwpeasternsierra.com.
