6-Inch Water Main Break in Studio City – Fire Engine in Sinkhole
LADWP Incident Information:
Please be advised that a 6-inch water main break occurred this morning on Hartsook Street in the San Fernando Valley. The break was reported at approximately 5:20 AM.
A Los Angeles City fire engine is stuck in the hole. Hartsook Street is closed and approximately 40 customers in the neighborhood are without water service.The main break is located near the intersection of Hartsook Street and Bellingham Avenue, east of Laurel Canyon Boulevard and south of Magnolia Boulevard. LADWP crews have responded and are in the process of shutting off the main.
