Questions cover college level math, science and technology subjects. The Scimmage helps prepare students for the regional competition which will be held on February 27, one of 67 held around the nation under the U.S. Department of Energy National Science Bowl program.
The Science Bowl encourages students from all backgrounds to study and pursue careers in math, science and technology and showcases the talent, hard work and knowledge of some of L.A.'s best students. Winning teams from the LADWP Science Bowl Regional competition have won four National Science Bowl titles and won trophies placing among the top five teams nine times.
