LADWP’s Urban Water Management Plan offers a detailed discussion on the status of Los Angeles’ imported water sources, and provides an update of future water supply and demand for the City. The Water Plan also discusses the management and development of water resources, as well as efforts relating to the efficient use water. Additional topics include existing and future water conservation measures, water recycling, and management of the City’s groundwater basins. All large California urban water agencies prepare a UWMP and provide an update every five years.
