LADWP TO HOLD OWENS VALLEY SOLAR POWER
PUBLIC MEETING IN BISHOP, JAN. 11

WHAT:	The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) will hold a public meeting to discuss concepts for building solar power generation facilities in the Owens Valley.

WHERE:	First United Methodist Church 205 N. Fowler Street Bishop, California
DETAILS:	Owens Valley stakeholders will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about LADWP’s concepts for developing solar power generation in the Owens Valley, including portions of the Owens Lake bed. The Owens Valley solar generation project is being considered to help achieve renewable energy goals aimed at reducing the threat of global warming and creating new jobs.
