Pedestrian-only walking nights at the 14th annual LADWP Holiday Light Festival begin tonight and will continue through December 17.  These nights are "vehicle-free" and exclusively for pedestrians. Walkers are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes, dress warmly for the two-mile round-trip stroll and arrive no later than 8:30 p.m. in order to have enough time to walk the entire route before 10:00 p.m. closing.

The LADWP Holiday Light Festival brings Angelenos from across the city together to view more than one million energy-efficient LED lights in festive display tributes to the culture and landmarks of Los Angeles.  A beloved tradition that is free of charge and open to all, the festival is in its 14th year.

Festival hours are 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. daily.  Free parking is available in the L.A. Zoo parking lot on a first come, first served basis. For more information, please visit the festival website or call the information line at (213) 367-1255.

This year's festival is made possible through a collaboration between LADWP, the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks, the Los Angeles Department of Transportation, the Autry National Center, the L.A. Zoo, CalTrans, KOST 103.5FM, Radio Disney, KLVE 107.5FM and all of the workers who bring the festival to life.
