Power Outage Update

As of 5:15 p.m.

Approximately 8,800 of LADWP's 1.4 million electric customers were without power as of 5:15 p.m. today, while power has been restored to more than 47,000 customers since the season’s first storm began Tuesday morning, bringing rain and gusty winds that continue causing outages in several neighborhoods. At this hour, the following communities have the most number of customers impacted:

South Los Angeles: 753
Southeast Los Angeles: 303
Venice: 399
Crenshaw: 2,962
Sherman Oaks: 1,389
Hyde Park: 1,196
Los Feliz: 547
Central Los Angeles: 471

In response to current weather conditions, LADWP heightened its response to Level 2 at 11:20 a.m. Tuesday to increase the number of electric distribution maintenance crews and resources. LADWP has 62 crews currently working to restore power to all customers as quickly and safely as possible.
