Power Outage Update

As of 10:00 a.m.

Approximately 14,500 of LADWP's 1.4 million electric customers were without power as of 10:00 a.m. today, while power has been restored to more than 40,500 customers since the season’s first storm began Tuesday morning, bringing rain and gusty winds that continue causing outages in several neighborhoods. At this hour, the following communities have the most number of customers impacted:

  • South Los Angeles: 3,370
  • Venice/Mar Vista: 1,970
  • Highland Park: 2,650
  • Crenshaw: 1,960
  • Sherman Oaks: 1,365
  • Mount Olympus: 630
  • Park La Brea: 490

In response to current weather conditions, LADWP heightened its response to Level 2 at 11:20 a.m. Tuesday to increase the number of electric distribution maintenance crews and resources. LADWP has 46 crews currently working to restore power to all customers as quickly and safely as possible.
