Power Outage Update

As of 11:00 p.m

Approximately 13,600 of LADWP's 1.4 million electric customers were without power as of 11:00 p.m. today, while power has been restored to approximately 26,000 customers, as the season’s first storm brought rain and gusty winds, causing outages in several neighborhoods.

At this hour, the following communities have the most number of customers impacted:

  • South Los Angeles: 1,200
  • Venice/Mar Vista: 3,200
  • Silver Lake: 2,000
  • Jefferson Park: 2,000
  • Studio City: 700
  • Hyde Park: 216

In response to current weather conditions, LADWP heightened its response to Level 2 at 11:20 a.m. to increase the number of electric distribution maintenance crews and resources. Crews continue to work around-the-clock to restore power to all customers as quickly and safely as possible.
