At this site, the media and public will find the most up-to-date announcements from the LADWP, including breaking news and other announcements and information on key topics. 

Members of the media can submit an online press inquiry, which will be sent automatically to a media representative for immediate response, 24/7.  They can also sign-up to receive news alerts automatically via fax or email by joining our mailing list. 

Members of the public can also sign-up to receive news and information from the DWP via email at the very same time it is distributed and posted online.

Our new site operates in "REALTIME", allowing our Public Affairs Staff to receive media requests and distribute news and information rapidly.  In today's fast moving world of news and information, it is our way of keeping our customers and the media well-informed.

During periods of intense weather, the DWP posts outage updates periodically on this news page.  It is general information only.  Customers experiencing a power outage should call 1-800-DIAL-DWP to speak with a customer service representative directly.
