WINTER STORM OUTAGE UPDATE FOR SATURDAY, JAN. 5, 2008 12:30 A. M.

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power has electrical crews responding to scattered  outages caused by the winter storm pounding the region.

Currently, approximately 10,300 customers are being affected by power outages out of the utility's 1.4 million electric customers.

There are circuit outages affecting the following areas:

These outages are due predominately to wires down due to inclement weather.

The LADWP has crews in the field working around the clock to restore power, as quickly and safely as possible.
