Power Outages Due To Rain

LADWP Power Outages Update 2:00 pm

December 7, 2007

As of 2:00 pm., the LADWP has approximately 1,470 customers affected by power outages out of our 1.4 million total customers.

There are 6 circuits with outages affecting the following areas:

South Los Angeles, 1 circuit outage affecting approximately 842 customers (down by approximately 5,000 from previous report)
Cheviot Hills, 1 circuit outage affecting about 49 customers (down by approximately 2,500 from previous report)
Hyde Park, 2 circuit outages affecting 23 customers
Playa Del Rey, 1 circuit outage affecting 501 customers
In addition, there are about 13 scattered individual customers with outages.

These outages are due predominantly to wires down due to inclement weather.

Approximately 26 crews in the field working to restore power.

*Since 8:00 a.m., power has been restored to more than 15,000 customers.
