ON THE RETIREMENT OF LADWP GENERAL MANAGER RON DEATON
LADWP COMMISSION ACTING-PRESIDENT EDITH RAMIREZ ISSUED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT TODAY REGARDING THE RETIREMENT OF DWP GENERAL MANAGER RON DEATON:
"Mr. Deaton has served the City of Los Angeles with the highest distinction for more than 42 years; including for the past three years as General Manager of the Department of Water and Power. We are grateful to Ron for his steady and strong leadership here at the DWP and recognize that his decision to retire is a tremendous loss for the City of LA and her residents. On behalf of the Board, I extend our deepest thanks and best wishes to Ron for a continued recovery to full health as he begins his retirement."
