OUTAGE UPDATE AS OF 8:30 AM
Highlights:
- Total # of customers affected by heat-related outages as of 8:30 AM today: Less than 1,000.
- All heat-related outages lasting 48 hours or more have been restored.
- Less than 1,000 customers remain affected by 6 neighborhood outages in Belair Estates, Mt. Olympus, Brentwood, and Watts.
- We have about 46 crews in the field, including DWP electric trouble crews, district crews, transmission crews, and private crews who were called in to assist in restoration efforts.
- Crews are now working their 8th straight day on 16-hours shifts.
POWER DEMAND
Due to cooler temperatures, power demand is reduced to average load for this time of year.
