OUTAGE UPDATE AS OF 11:00 PM
Highlights:
- Total # of customers affected by outages as of 11 PM: Approx. 13,580
- 2 Circuit outages affecting Korea Town and Westwood: Approx 3000 customers (Crews are working)
- 13 new partial circuit outages affecting 3500 customers in Mid-City, Eagle Rock, Highland Park, Sherman Oaks, West Hills, Van Nuys, Granada Hills, Studio City, North Hills, Reseda, Mt Olympus
- 6800 customers are affected by 144 small outages scattered across Valley and Metro (Some customers have now exceeded 24 hours
- We had approx 48 crews in field this afternoon, supplemented by private crews who were called in to assist in restoration efforts; over 20 crews will continue working through the night.
Customers affected as of 6:00 PM: Approximately 13,580 customers w/out service.

POWER DEMAND
We broke the previous record for a Sunday in September (5224 MW set last summer) when we hit 5392 MW today. It is also the 9th highest September day on record.
Downtown high today was 101 degrees, 112 in the Valley. It is currently 92 in Northridge at 11:30 PM.
